The unique high level buoyancy of the Brine Pool allows patients to exercise early without stressing painful joints and muscles. This, together with the expertise of our physiotherapists allows an earlier start to rehabilitation than normal.
The rehabilitation gymnasium provides a wide range of equipment to increase the speed of recovery after injury. Treatment focus on the re-education and strengthening of muscles and joints enabling patients to achieve maximum recovery in the shortest possible time. All exercise regimes are devised and monitored by our fully qualified staff.
This department concentrates on the diagnosis, management and treatment of foot conditions ranging from nail problems to medical conditions such as diabetes.
The podiatry department is involved with the diagnosis of abnormal foot and leg mechanics and their treatment. The underlying cause of any problem is determined by a series of assessments and video gait analysis. Re-alignment of joints of the foot can have far reaching beneficial effects.
